Your data

How we handle your birth data

Last updated 1 September 2026

The short version

Your birth date, time and place are the most personal things you give us. This page is a plain, specific account of exactly where they go — and what we never do with them.

In a line: encrypted, used only to read your chart and talk to you about it, never sold, and deletable anytime.

What we mean by “birth data”

Your date of birth, your time of birth (or an approximate window, if you don’t know it), and your place of birth. Together these fix the sky at your moment — the basis of your kundli. We treat them as sensitive personal data, and this page and our Privacy Policy govern how we use them.

Where your birth data goes — the whole path

There is no hidden step here. This is all of it:

  • When you enter it, we encrypt it and store it securely.
  • To draw your chart and turn it into a reading, we share it with the third-party service providers that perform those steps for us — only the data each one needs, on our instructions.
  • From then on, your ongoing chats carry only your first name and your computed chart — not your full birth details — into the conversation.

That’s the entire journey. Your birth data doesn’t go anywhere else, and we never sell it or share it for anyone’s advertising.

If you don’t know your birth time

Many people don’t, and that’s completely fine. You can tell us “I’m not sure,” and we read your chart honestly around that uncertainty rather than inventing a precise time. Where a reading depends on an approximate time, we mark it, so you always know how firm the ground under it is.

What we never do

  • We never sell your birth data or share it for anyone’s advertising.
  • We never show it publicly or attach it to a public profile.
  • We never use it to identify you to other users.
  • We don’t post, publish, or make your chart searchable.

Keeping it safe

Your birth data is encrypted at rest, access is limited to what’s needed to run the service, and our logs are built to exclude your birth details and your messages. There’s more detail in our Privacy Policy.

Deleting it

You’re in control. Settings → delete removes your birth details, your chart, and your conversations from our active systems, and we purge them from encrypted backups within a limited retention window. Deleting is permanent.
