Terms of Use

1. This agreement

AstroKshetra is operated as a sole proprietorship based in Bengaluru, India. By creating an account or using the app or this website, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree, please don’t use AstroKshetra.

2. Who can use AstroKshetra

You must be 18 or older and able to enter into a binding agreement. AstroKshetra is intended for use in India.

3. What AstroKshetra is — and is not

AstroKshetra computes your Vedic birth chart and offers readings and conversations with astrologers to help you reflect and make your own decisions.

• Astrology is a traditional practice, not a science. Readings are interpretation and opinion — not guaranteed predictions of what will happen.
• AstroKshetra is not a substitute for professional advice. For medical, mental-health, legal, financial or similar decisions, please consult a qualified professional. Nothing in the app is medical, legal or financial advice.
• AstroKshetra is not an emergency service. If you are in distress or crisis, please contact a local professional or helpline right away.

4. Your account

You sign in with your email address and a one-time passcode. Keep your email account and device secure; you’re responsible for activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised use.

5. Consultations, pricing and payments

• Your first chat with an astrologer is free.
• After that, you add money to your AstroKshetra wallet through the Apple App Store or Google Play using your store account, subject to their terms.
• Paid consultations are charged per minute from your wallet balance, at the astrologer’s rate shown in the app before you start. Rates vary by astrologer.
• Prices may change. The rate shown at the time you start a consultation is the rate that applies.
• We may add promotional or bonus credit to your wallet from time to time. It can be used like balance in the app but has no cash value and is not refundable.

6. Refunds

We want you treated fairly. We’ll provide a refund or credit for the affected minutes where:

• a consultation fails to connect, or is interrupted, due to a fault on our side;
• an astrologer does not join a session you started; or
• you’re charged in error, or twice, for the same session.

We don’t generally refund consultations that were delivered as described simply because you disagree with the guidance. Because payments are processed by Apple and Google, their refund policies also apply, and some refunds may need to be requested through them. To ask for a refund, contact us at support@astrokshetra.co. The full policy — including cancellations, timelines and unused wallet balance — is in our Refunds & Cancellations policy, which forms part of these Terms.

7. Acceptable use

Please don’t: use AstroKshetra for anything unlawful; harass or abuse astrologers or staff; copy, scrape, resell or redistribute the app, charts or content; try to break, overload or reverse-engineer the service; or use it to harm others. We may suspend accounts that do.

8. Content and intellectual property

The app, this website, our chart engine and calculations, the format of the readings, our text, and our artwork — including the planet illustrations — are owned by AstroKshetra or our licensors. We grant you a personal, limited, non-transferable licence to use them within the app for your own use. Your birth details and conversations remain yours; see the Privacy Policy for how we handle them.

9. Astrologers

The astrologers on AstroKshetra are AI astrologers — personas powered by our chart engine and artificial intelligence, not human practitioners. Their guidance is generated interpretation of your chart, and we don’t guarantee particular outcomes from any consultation.

10. Disclaimers

AstroKshetra is provided “as is” and “as available.” We don’t warrant that readings will be accurate, that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that it will meet every expectation. You use it on the basis of your own judgement.

11. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, AstroKshetra and its team won’t be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, or for decisions you make based on a reading. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim or ₹1,000. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited under law.

12. Suspension and ending your use

You can stop using AstroKshetra at any time and delete your data from Settings. We may suspend or end access if you breach these Terms, or where needed to protect the service or other users.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. We’ll change the date above and, for significant changes, notify you in the app. Continuing to use AstroKshetra means you accept the updated Terms.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any rights you have under applicable law.
